I know I'm out of the loop since I haven't built a new AC site in ages but am I the only one not seeing any new sales lately. What gives? There's a bunch of new rules to AVS of late so is one of them no more new sales or what?

Dont know dude, i have never built a AC site, loads od cyberage and sexkey, but never a AC......do you reccomend them? for getting upsells to gold/sponsers?

I only have a few adultcheck sites, just enough to stay active in the system. But I would say that for my other avs sites, mostly cyberage and onverify, sales are down.

Oneverify just sent me my first "your website has been denied" letter for an existing site that required a new script in order to continue qualifying for their program, so it looks like they are about to start the enforcement.

I expect it to take a few more months before cyberage starts enforcement.

It's hard to say wether AVS will survive as a business model, if they can't make the "age verification club" claims that differentiates them from a regular paysite.

I dont sell Gold., but regular are ticking along at their usual crappy rate.

IMO AVS is a dying beast...

All of my AVS sales are down the first 8 days of this month. I've found that a week to 10 days often means nothing. One of my best pay periods at CyberAge had the first 9 days down about 80% then things picked up fast.

This month I've noticed that my AC Gold sales are about the lowest I've seen in any 8 days that I can remember. If I didn't know better I'd think they were having an issue with a particular CC company.

With AVS what really matters is what happens at the end of the month. I've found that it can go up and down pretty fast. Last month my Gold sales were exactly what I would expect and right now they're way down.

The rebills are coming in but new sales are non exisitent. I only have about 10 regular AC sites but I usually bring in about 15-20 sales a month on them. No sales this period so far and none the last period. Looking at my records shows the income from them has was below half in July too from what it was 3 months ago.

Maybe DangerDave is right...dying business.
