There is a line in the film Trainspotting where the Scottish lead character is talking about the English. I think the same quote could be used about tube sites. The line is this (with apologies to any Scots for the slight Americanisation of the quote), simply replace the word "English" with the phrase "tube site webmasters":

"I don't hate the English. The English are assholes. We were conquered by a bunch of assholes, what does that make us?"
