I do love the weather in Buffalo. It was 65° yesterday & today it's 28° And, it's fucking with gusts up to 60 MPH |cheese|

The Bitch is very It takes a lot to keep her down, but she spent yesterday on the couch, so I know it's bad. She did go to work, but her boss is apparently so it might be an early day for her.

And, speaking of the couch, the new one we ordered via Groupon is supposed to be delivered tomorrow

Just work for me today, along with popping Echinacea all day & ing that I don't get this creeping crud that's going around

This year's flu seems to be unusually bad. I know a lot of people that have gotten really sick this year.

Christy's father is in the hospital with it. Yesterday they moved him out of intensive care and into a regular room so he is getting better. Doesn't help that he is a former smoker with a lot of lung damage.

|idea| We thought about visiting her folks and then we thought about catching the flu. Christy decided that phone calls were much safer.

Oddly this is one of the first years in a long time that I didn't get a flu shot, for no reason at all other than just not getting around to it. I've been using hand sanitizer after touching just about anything. Yesterday at the gym I went through the entire travel size of hand sanitizer that I keep on my gum bag.
