Cleo the page is broken on ie8 even when turning in protection off.
As you can see in my screenshot...
I'm not sure if the overlay is working correctly for as you can see it covers all but the very top of the background, but it does scroll fine.
Is that supposed to be transparent or at least translucent overlay?
If it is supposed to be solid black the gray font is hard to see

Also the text on the page is running out of the box
