IMHO, Nirvana is to the 90's what The Beatles were to the 60's, Led Zeppelin were to the 70's, and Metallica were to the 80's - their music defines the decade.
If you like the best of album, then go buy
Nevermind (their breakthru album), and then get the rest in order of their release date. This way, you can experience them the way we all did back in the early 90's
