It's a good thing that I'm not stranded on the side of the road

A few hours ago I got in my car to go to the grocery store. Battery is dead. Not really surprising since the battery has been getting more and more flaky lately and I've had to put it on the charger in order to get it started a few times over the last few months.

I have a Triple A Plus membership which means they will come out and change the battery for $120 which is about the same as it would cost me to go buy one up the street, if I had a car to get there.

Last year I added Christy to my account under the family plan which came in real handy when she wrecked her car a few weeks ago.

So I call Triple A and they tell me that I don't have a membership but they do have Christy and Christine as the two members.

Two hours later and a lot of phone calls to member services it has all been straighten out and now I'm waiting for my nice new shinny battery.

Just really glad that I'm home and not stranded on the side of the road and in not in some ghetto neighborhood.

Telling them that you will quit your membership if they don't show up right away usually works for me

Kind of hard to do when they are telling you that you don't have a membership in the first place.

Just glad this mess-up happened at our home and not in one of the many ghetto neighborhoods that we drive through to get anywhere.
