Morning!

Another horrendous night of trying to sleep. Was tired & went to bed around 10:00. Couldn't sleep, so I got up around 1:30 & has some Lucky Charms (you do know that they are magically delicious, right?) I think I finally closed my eyes around 4:00 & then, of course, I was back up at 5:30

So, I've been working since then. But today The Bitch is making me leave the house so that I can pick up one of those fancy e-cigs, since my smoking is a bit out of control

And later, we'll be picking up Yell's grandson to babysit him tonight & tomorrow so that his mommy can go to the Bills game tomorrow - and since The Bitch & I do NOT miss going to watch them lose on a very regular basis, it's no problem for us to watch the lil guy. He is a cutie

So, that's that!

Good morning world

No problem sleeping last night, probably in part due to the nice sound of rain on the metal roof over the downstairs patio. Also had the nice experience of waking up being sure it was Sunday and then learning it was Saturday, so my weekend immediately doubled in size (well, in my head's twisted way of looking at it anyway).

Speaking of rain, my weather widget shows clouds with lighting and rain falling from them for every day this week. Which is easy to confirm by just looking out any of my windows.

Which reminded me of this photo of a great billboard promoting a weather service in New Zealand (something similar was used in Canada too). I'd like to have been there for the pitch meeting when the agency told the client their idea was a billboard with nothing on it, and that in fact you could see right through it.

It got really damn hot yesterday so the wife and I stayed in and caught up on dvr recordings versus going to D-land. Today the family is coming over to soak up what little ac I have, at least the grandson is cute.

I'm hot right now. The little ac unit that used to work alright pretty much is useless in this heat. I'm thinking sooner rather than later going to the beach where it's a little cooler. Or even for a drive in the car.

Other than that I'm just working away on some code today while watching some college football.

I've never been a huge fan of the marihuana and, since I'm on pain meds, I do get piss tested every now & then & having that show up in my pee is all I'd need.
