What is this football thing?

In recover mode from yesterday's kayaking adventure that was followed by taking our kayaking trailer all apart and fixing the short in its wiring harness. We got the wiring harness fixed but not before frying the trailer lights interface on Christy's car. Just got back from U-Haul. They replaced the interface box for $40.

Not sure what we are doing today. House needs cleaning. I'm behind in my adult work. A new order for a bunch of mailers came in last night. (owner is in love my gold on black designs and is going crazy having me make up all new promos using it which is great for me but a bit overwhelming)

Christy may or may not go up to her moms fro the afternoon so a lot depends on what she ends up doing as far as if the house gets cleaned or I spend the day beating on a keyboard.
