![]() I think that ending would have been better. Or Dexter signing the lumber jack song at the end. ![]() |

That's what she said

Been a long day, meetings and shit regarding my condition.
So I fell asleep full of painkillers after dinner. Which turned out good, I haven't been so creative on my guitar for weeks. No porn today. Guess I'll catch up tomorrow. G'night folks Jolly |

I also saw that Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter's sister) said this in an interview on that same site: "...I don’t necessarily think that Dexter is done. It’s still deliciously hanging untied; there’s too much intrigue and too much of the appetite for it to completely be unresolved by this finale. Maybe somewhere down the line I wouldn’t be surprised if something happens. I would be interested to see Michael come back with the energy that he’d have from taking a real break and seeing what he can do with that character. I’m not trying to hint that I know something is coming, but I’m saying it’s possible."
That could be interesting. And maybe instead of the Bay Harbor Butcher he could be something like "The Sawmill Slayer" or "The Lethal Logger" ...and he could whistle the tune from the Lumberjack Song when he was riding with his Dark Passenger. The funny thing is that in one of the the original Monty Python episodes, Michael Palin was actually a homicidal barber who just wanted to be a lumberjack, as this short version shows. (a longer version with barber sketch included is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xToPCaNxaow ) ![]()
