Good afternoon.

There are still about 125,000 people without power in and around Toronto. The Red Cross is manning community centres for people to stay at if needed. At our house, all is well -- Internet is back as is cable TV and home phone. Our neighbours left for relatives in Waterloo Ontario rather than bunk with us. They were getting together for Xmas anyhow. It's 8C / 46F in their house. Outside, the high for the day is -11C / 12F. It will go down to -14C / 7F tonight. No looting or people behaving badly. Everyone seems to be coping well enough.

So, I will wrap some presents and have a quiet time as my wife cooks in the kitchen.

Good thoughts to you whatever you might celebrate!
