Tuesday June 9th (aka I'm In A Fucking Funk)

I have done absolutely nothing interesting today, nothing even remotely worth posting. So its straight into:

Puppy News

A kid came up to me while I was walking the puppy to ask politely "Can I stroke your dog?" The puppy is scared of children, so by then was hiding behind me hoping I would protect him from this terrifying creature. However I stupidly said "You can try, but he will probably run away."

I was wrong. The kid tried, but rather than run away the puppy actually tried to jump up on my shoulders to get away from the kid!

He failed (fortunately, because although still a puppy, he is already big and heavy) however a ridgeback puppy looks a bit like a fully grown great dane (which will give you an idea of how "big and heavy" he is) and to the kid, seeing him try to jump on my shoulders, it must have looked like when Scooby Doo sees that week's "ghost" and jumps up on Shaggy's shoulders!

(Although the difference would be that Shaggy is famously skinny, and I am a bit fat!)
