I worked all day yesterday, mostly neglecting and pushing away my puppy, so I finally treated her to an extended time outside late last night. Fortunately, the moon was bright and we could chase each other around easily enough. She enjoys running away with her leash in her mouth while I chase her in circles. Then, I gave her my flashlight. A couple of weeks ago, I accidentally learned that she LOVES running around with the flashlight in her mouth. So, last night, I gave it to her and she took off running, illuminating her way, nearly to the door of some random stranger's RV in the desert. I could hear the old woman inside bickering to her husband about it. I don't think she fully comprehended that it was a dog with a flashlight - not an extremely short peeping Tom - and that no one, not even me, the owner of the Net's oldest mature porn site, wants to peep in on her.

Anyway, more coffee, more work.
