I get settled in for a nice quiet day of work... about an hour into it, I get a message from the Husband that they have had thunder by his parents. What? There were no storms predicted for today. Sure enough... the only big cells in Finland were in our area. Close enough to have to be on guard, but not close enough to shut down. There went my quiet work time... sigh..
The heat here continues for another good 2 weeks and possibly another 2 weeks beyond. They are talking about record breaking heat here, and one of the longest heat waves recorded. We had a warm, rainy winter and now this very hot summer. Something is changing here. Guess I will go get into whatever trouble I can while I still have power... sigh..
