Sleepy Sunday July 29th (aka Pagan's Shy About Starting The Daily Thread)

Dodging thunderstorms here for the next couple of days. So far, we have not had to shut down yet. Had a good morning of grunt work too, with more to come before we have to shut down.

I moved my gay TGP to a new server install on my other account with my host. I was running out of space because I do also make galleries on that domain. Plus, TGPx was balking at the number of categories and pages. Shemaie is in progress right now. The framework is there. I just have to handshake everything in the new location, then I can move the domain name.

Yesterday, I had gotten to the point where I could delete the old stuff off of the main TGPx server. What I did was an export of the galleries with their thumbnails, then I ran the scanner to put all of those thumbs onto the new server. I happily went back to the old server, and deleted the categories and pages I no longer needed... and lost about half the thumbnails. Yep. Even though I had run the scanner, the thumbs were not updated to the new address. So, if I had a gallery in Massage, and it was only in Massage, it was deleted from the main server. When that happened, it also deleted the linked thumbnail. What a scramble last night.

At least with the shemale TGP I am wise to sneaky TGPx tricks. I am fixing its little wagon as I place everything in its new home. Guess I had better get back to the salt mine...

Sleepy

Morning!

All kinds of sore after taking 12* TVs to be recycled & then working on the kitchen. A couple 's due to the contractor & a couple 's on me.
*They said they could only take a max of 4 TVs so we told him we'd could just leave, change drivers, come back, leave again, go get The Bitch, come back...so they took all 12

Yell's got a dumpster at his place to get rid on a lot of crap, so heading down there shortly to lend a hand, then home to my kitchen

Good Morning

Yesterday did not go as planned as I clipped a gas line and had to have the GasCo come out. It is a line that runs in the backyard to the detached garage where the laundry room is. I forgot there is a shut off valve on the back of the house. So at least there is gas running into the house. So now I have to dig up the line and replace it as it is old and deteriorating. It is in an area where we are replacing a grass section with pavers for more patio space and less yard work for me.

Good news is as I was waiting for GasCo in front of the house my neighbor (a contractor) stopped by and as we were talking I mentioned building the bmx track and he can get me all the dirt I want for free I know for a lot of you this sounds like a given but in LA it can be hard to locate with costs usually $7 a cubic yard for delivery so this will save me about $400

This may sound confusing but my backyard is split into two sections as it slopes upward from the back of the house so it is terraced a couple times to create flat sections.

I also realized since the track will run behind my garage and patio/shed areas that the old roofs on them probably should be replaced before I move all the dirt in. Replacing them was on the list of shit to do just like the pavers were but looks like it would be easier to have all that done first delaying the track build by a few weeks.

Anyhoo, doing a little biz work first to try and let the humidity drop a bit before going out to dig.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Afternoon

Better today, but the promised rain (and thunder) have been stolen by Pagan, it seems.
Funny thing, it rained *heavily* for 20 seconds yesterday. It started the very same second the door shut behind us on our way in.
Not that I would mind being wet, I find that refreshing and my dog just loves water beyond anything. (Maybe more than me? Naah, let's hope not).
Anyhow, extremely tight timing by the weather gods.

Managed to do a lot of prep work this morning so I'm almost up to speed again. Now I've baked some cinnamon-buns, think I've deserve some treating and there's no one else to do it, so ...

Enjoy your sunday!
