Tuesday December 25th (aka Merry Ho Ho!)

I love living in Finland. Christmas Peace was declared at noon on Christmas Eve - a 700 year old tradition. Shops began closing about that same time. We went to dinner at the in-laws, and i was amazed at how many places were closed up tight already (noon on Christmas eve!) People here do the big holiday on the 24tn with family time on the 25th, and visiting on the 26th. We don't go nuts on the after Christmas sales. I love the quiet sanity of it all.

I actually got some work done updating not just galleries, but actual code. I am going back for a second dose now... This is like a regular day, only quieter.
