We had our appointment with the police for our national ID cards and The Husband's passport. All went well until we found out my valid US passport with my correct name etc is not valid to pick up our ID cards. The regulation says "passport", and doesn't specify that only Finnish passports work in that instance. So many people have had major problems getting these - and we now have to have them. The Husband will have his passport soon, and we can use that to pick everything up. Gotta love red tape!

Outside of that, just trying to get back on track again after another lost week.... lost in the haze of his beer drinking. Sigh... at least that is over for a few weeks.
