Here, we get a choice. Go through the public system and wait about 6 months and pay over 1000 bucks for both eyes, or go through the private health care system. The doctor I saw yesterday happened to have an opening TODAY to get this done about an hour and a half away from home. The cost? closer to 3000 dollars for both eyes, cash/debit. Fortunately, my inlaws are helping. I leave in about 4 hours for my appointment. This should be intesting.
