Morning!
![]() Yesterday I took pics of some shit I'm going to put on the eBay & then we binged some of the Netflix. Today I need to do some banking, put that stuff up on the eBay, maybe do some legit work, and try to avoid the news. |

Going to attempt a walk in the forest today ... we still might be too weakly and chicken out though....
Otherwise Sweden has an exploding number of deaths - but the PM is still talking about coordinating better in the EU and calling South Korea for advice...so its safe to assume hes doing nothing (which is usually a good thing for a government in all fairness) |

Good Morning
![]() Got some more outside other stuff done yesterday as the rain was delayed till last night. Now it's here so kinda stuck inside other than I probably should go to the grocery store. Since it's cold and wet outside I may put it off till tomorrow. Plus it seems like Mondays & Fridays there is a line to get in and then a bigger line to get out. Enjoy your Corona Monday! |

Scary situation. But doing nothing can be the worst choice of all. The longer he delays doing anything, the more people become infected. You would think he would call on his neighbors here in the Nordics first though it sounds like he is not willing to step up to the plate and take any kind of action. Our government here has been a bit cautious on the closures, hoping that the people would take it seriously. People were still traveling to the ski areas (and getting sick there -- danged Swedes bringing it across the border!) until they shut those down about 10 days ago. They figured they were off work and it is the normal time of year for ski holidays, so why not travel? Now they can't. Most can't leave the Capital area without a valid reason and every single car is checked. Easter weekend will be an adventure as most Finns get outside into the sunshine for about the first time all year. Weather is nice and warm already, too. Sweden sounds so grim. Glad I am here, not really so far away. I would say come visit, but then, you can't get here from there anymore.

Itd be fun to visit - but then, both me and the wife have been down with the flu a week+ - so weŽd likely be spreading stuff around all the way....
Finally, after what 2 (3?!) months her work (handicap/elderly service) has invited a nurse to come give a talk about precautions etc (this is the first theyre gonna hear about corona at all) ...and the brainiacs are hosting all employees in one little conference room, including insisting people like wifey with clear symptoms attend ... One might as well just actively infect the elderly then ? ....and yeah, in an already overly regulated society with a monopoly of resources/power in the hands of the government, youŽre rather reliant on them taking action...but the Swedes just simply dont dare/want to/have the competence to Quote:
