Warm here, but not hellishly so. Thunderstorms are on the menu this week.. again.

Mother-in-law was out picking berries yesterday in the forest and took a fall. Her husband couldn't get her back up so they ended up calling for assistance. She is okay, but spent the night last night in the hospital an hour away. Needless to say, things are chaotic right now. We should know soon when she will be released. I do hope they keep her, not to be mean. She was asking the EMTs yesterday if they could take her home instead of to the hospital. I mean, at 75, you fall and can't get up by yourself, your husband can't get you back on your feet (he is 76), and the EMTs had a struggle.. but you want to go home? She is a 4 time cancer survivor, all in that same hospital too. Sigh.. another day in paradise.
