Morning.

I forgot to mention that my buddy is being transferred to a rehabilitation hospital today. There is a path to recovery but it's a long road. Finding out the results of the biopsy from the tumour on his spine is key. He is still in a lot of pain.

In other news, I am scheduled for a Eustachian tube balloon dilation procedure on August 18. I am very excited. I hope it fixes my ear ringing. If not, then I must "come to peace" with with my tinnitus. [As a side note, not everything in out "socialize medicine" utopia is perfect. This minor operation is not covered and is going to cost me C$4400 out of pocket! Nonetheless, it's something I must do.]

Lots of web work today interrupted by a quick lunch out. I'm going to a music festival with my wife for the weekend and will be leaving noon Friday so you might not see me again until Monday.
