On that particularly high note, a very close pal of mine had a recruitment business which he evolved into a job board. Its UK-specific and located at Job Jobbed but while its a superb site, the simple fact is that unless you win the lottery, you'll never be able to compete with the marketing budget of the big, established sites.

soooo, having established it and spent a fortune on it, he returned to work to earn a living leaving the mostly automated site to do its thang! Anyway, so that the owner - who has a very unusual and distinctive name, didn't get found out by his employers, he set the site up so that all correspondence comes from Mr Beavis.

Not sure if it counts as an imaginary friend but its funny as f*** to see correspondence coming in for the hound, especially when it relates to conversations with him about advertising and such!
