Recip Link Tables!

Dear linklist owners (this applies just as well to TGP site owners!)

I'm just making my first free site ever (after about 8 years in the biz - LOL!) and am busy setting up the index pages with recip links -
and I'm starting to get annoyed with badly written table code for recip links! {SORRY - that's the way it is...}

If you are requesting a TEXT LINK TABLE please make sure that all link text has a tag around it specifying size and color of the font! So often I end up with your table background color being my link text color (in the body tab or CSS), and then there's just a single-color rectangle showing - then I have to drill into the code and add color tags for all fonts so that one can actually read what's in there! If I'm really lucky your script's checking for a specific line of recip code, and once I have entered the font tab (hence altered the code) I get rejected for a missing recip link...


So please: realise that not everybody has the same color scheme as your page with recip link tables -
so please make sure your table will display the way you want it to look on ANY page layout!

And since I'm at it - have a look at my first free site and give me some feedback before I start submitting it...

Yeah I end up cleaning up a lot of recip code so that it will look decent with the default colors that I have defined, real aggravating.

I didnt see a site title and dont use the title of the pay site and transfer the title to the other pages and put more recips on unless your gonna do doorways and I can tell your a tgp guy..spiders dont read graphics well.. And the site looks real nice..

Also not to pick but most LL owners dont like the word young in a site and you used it right - but not in your meta description - description" CONTENT="Hardcore Pictures of a Young Naughty Teen Coed Girl dildoing her ass" > I would reject for that and I always have to check peoples shit be it metas or hidden stuff.. Not that your that kind of people - just pointing some things out..

I made a few minor changes (like title) - but the bloody use of the word "YOUNG" is driving me insane. It's basically a totally NEUTRAL word (specially from my point of view - I'm in my late 40s and anybody under 30 appears young to me! - LOL) - I try not to use it in combination with 'Teen' since then it's really suggesting something I don't wanna have to do with, either...

But how do you word the opposite of "OLD"? (sorry - I'm German born and raised, English is my second language).

Np and young is ok like young ladies or young women, but young girls is well you know.. Same with that gay boy stuff.. And most try and use young boy stuff.. Most LL have most of those words banned.. I am 40 so a young women to me is 18 to 25 amd a young girl or boy is..

If you don't mind: is my page layout working o.k. on Apples as well as on Windows Pears? Some tables are rather tight fit with intended fonts (which are all different on the non-windows-thingies)...

That is/was one question I have: My page title is in the MIDDLE of the page, right above a short introduction (which hardly anybody else's writing) and the warning - it is actually quite obvious (on almost any screen setting) - just not right on top...

Set-up is like this

I thought 8 recips per page is enough - or people will get lost... I rather use doorways like index01, index02, etc.

What's wrong with graphics, as long as I use proper ALT text?
And as far as I believe I didn't use that many... There's actually a LOT of text on each page, just some with clever CSS formatting, plus the introduction on the index and the 'fake interviews' on the galleries to add a few more keywords...
BTW: I have some TGP galleries with a Google PR of 5, and I get ~ 1,000 googles/day to tgp galleries...

Oh good - another question for the Link List Gurus:

my exit link is going to a sponsor: how2pickupgirls.com - a non x-rated site... Any problems with that?

Just didn't wanna give it away to yahoo or the likes. (Though: I noticed many sites with only an ENTER link, some badly hidden so that I would not list a site like that...)

Yeah I glanced right over the site title - A lot Of LL like to see the site title on each page and some dont mind - I use it on all pages..

Also you have 8 recips thats about the lowest I'd go, If fact some LL wont list sites less than 6.. And also some smaller LL want to see a few higher traffic LL mixed in the recip table when doing doorways.. And most give 3 outgoing links. so use them to feed also..

Also I know your not a newbie, But go on the biggest LL and look at a few of the sites listed and see what you can do..

And graphics are nice looking, but there's still dial up people out there. So I make my pages light just for that reason.. That header is 56k.. IMO I'd put a 20k banner in there - thats just me

And half page ads - mix a few things in and the reviewer rejects the site for taking up to much of his monitor.. happens all the time.. Oh and I make all of the site internal links the same size as the ads links..

Very appreciated! Unfortunately when it comes to link lists I AM A TOTAL NEWBIE!
I don't even know which the big guns are, and who are smaller LLs... O.k.: except maybe a few guys I remember from back in 1996/7/8, sites like Tommy's, GreenGuy, Richard's Realm (I must confess I have reached already the end of my knowledge - LOL).

This template and finding all the recip-links took me longer than 2 or 3 TGP galleries templates would have taken from scratch, and I haven't even started to submit, so I'll leave it like it is, wait for a few replies, and rather put my energy (combined with all your hints and my newly gained knowledge) into a second template...
