"Q: Is it okay to use hot water from the tap for cooking?
A: No. Use cold water. Hot water is more likely to contain rust, copper, and lead from your household plumbing and water heater because these contaminants generally dissolve into hot water from the plumbing faster than they do into cold water." those aren't ccontaminants, thats added flavoring! supposed to get snow sometime tonight south of Boston, pouring right now and 45ish |

I have a filtration system on the house, so I have to assume that balances out whatever extra particles I get from my rusty pipes

I have five gallon water bottles delivered now that I have a water dispenser, not that the one I bought does hot water but that is what I have a microwave for.
It has been hard for me to get used to getting the water out of my dispenser instead of the tap for cooking but everything does taste better when I do. Water down here is pretty bad. If you fill up a bathtub it looks like piss due to all the sulfur in our water. |
