Lately I've been listening a lot to CD 2 of the Metallica S&M album.

Other stuff that blows through my speakers once in a while is:

Up until 2PM, when NYPD Blue comes on. I must have seen every episode at least 4 times

that reminds me when i hear or see an commercial on telly and they use an certain song in it and i dont know the name of it, yes then me that nuthead i will go to the music shop and sing along, and the lady of the shop always find the song i need

I was in a band for way to damn many years. Now, I mostly like either silence or listening to the food network or history channel in the background.
On a rare occasion I'll fire up the mp3 player.
Mostly oldies - Buddy Holly, Elvis etc.
In the truck, it's always tuned to MPR (public radio)
I have an aversion to commercials.

Intense programming time is best performed with fairly high volume NIN. Downward Spiral is very inspirational for good code.

Sometimes when i'm really cranking I put on 70's funk and disco.. trying to get done so i can turn it off.

When i'm trying to do text..i usually listen to AAron Neville, Billy Joel, or Show tunes... Explains a lot, eh?
