Thanks guys. I will go learn more. I learned some and I thought O thats simple enough, but I need to learn more, a lot more. I can see where I may know things like a <head> tag or a <body> tag but not consepts (or spelling for that matter lol) I need to know what goes where. It looks pretty easy and I think between that and the fact that DW does alot for you almost gives you a false sense of ability.

The way I learned was by looking at other pages. I dont mean copy other peoples work, but use other webpages to learn html or see how a certian layout is done. Actually dreamweaver could help you learn, tables for one because you can say the layout.

I have started learning HTML and I see what you guys mean. I didnt know and am starting to learn alot of the consepts. I didnt know so many tags are netscape extentions. Like the <B> and <I> instead of <stong> or <EM> this is still currently true right?

Yep, once you get into it...the concepts become fairly clear

Do yourself a big favor...when you've finished a page, be sure to validate it. Doing so will alert you to any significant issues before submitting the page anywhere. Actually, you should validate every page you ever build...it will quickly become part of your routine in building
