Newbie Idea - PDF Guide for Sex Online?

I just wanted to throw this into the arena for some advice.

I'm thinking about writing up an ebook guide for finding sex online. I'm a veteran of the practice, and have a lot of good information for it. I think it could be a valuable tool for certain people.

Now, as for making money from it, I would distribute the pdf for free, with some links to different services that pertain to the subject. I would also have a link to a newsletter for the topic.

Any ideas/criticisms for this? Has anybody tried this before?

Thanks!

The old viral marketing concept. Write an ebook and try to get people to email it to other people.

I've heard of other people suggesting they were going to try similar ideas in the years past, but I can't say I ever saw such an idea brought to fruition.

Most such things are done in a simpler format than pdf, but pdf would let you give it a fancy look, and it self-selects for a somewhat higher class of surfer.

I was and probably will make PDF's of my AEBN daily movies and my daily rotating gallery links.

Won't hurt and Google crawls pdf's deeper than html. Oh, wait. I am banned by Google. |pissed|

Only thing that sucks about PDF is that you cannot hide affiliate links.

I did not know that.

Regardless, I think it could work, especially if I make a valuable product. The other issue that I can't address is distribution. How the heck could I get this thing out there?

Yep. I even asked on Adobe's Acrobat forum.

You could advertise on Overture and AdWords.

Or- stick it on a site you already have some traffic too.
