For a sponsor hosted site I think it is fine.

Pics are kind of on the huge size.

Some places might not like what looks like clickable thumbs in the banner but I'm guessing that most will overlook that since they are hosted sponsor sites with our code in them, I know that I do.

Besides the huge pics, there's couple of other things I don't like.
The text links are default blue, I personally overlook them more often than links in another color.
The text links has a lot of exclamation points in them, that makes me want to look at them even less.

The graphic doesn't align properly with the tables either, probably just a slight adjustment. Other than that it looks ok

I think you're trying too hard with the graphics - IMHO Free Sites are all about the marketing text.

The pics seem to be out of order too - tits out at the end of gallery one & back in at he start of gallery two.

But, all in all, it's acceptable for a HFS

Nice points there swedguy, although I use non standard colors for my links a lot of the time, and !!! even more I think sometimes we need to remember that a big number of surfers have been 'trained' to recognise blue as a link so to them it's what they actually look for, rather than what we do as webmasters is ignore a lot of the time, or at least it kinda goes into 'blank out' mode.

I remember being told what looks ugly to us doesn't necessarily look so to the surfer in regards to freesites (save the flashy graphics for the tour)

Anyhow, I see you've changed the colour anyway, but I'd get someone to proof read that text for typos and grammatical errors

Quick look on this one and the first thing i saw was the enter link should be below the warning. also we will need to change directions, less graphics.

get with me on the text we will whip up some killer text. This is a good looking page though man, i love the colors

I don't think the color matter that much for a new surfer, I think it's more important to have underlines on the links. That's what separates it from the text for a new surfer.


Regarding the site:

I wouldn't put the enter that far up. If it's that far up, there's no need for the surfer to scroll down on the page = 2 ads/links that they will not see.

Since it's going to be a HFS, I don't mind that there's a lot of links (4-5/page), but some might. Check what other has to see about it.

swedguy - yep, out of the two I'd definitely agree - blue or underlined - go for underlined.

I'd still be tempted to go for the blue links for both new and semi-expierenced surfers. Nothing 'set in stone' just a personal thing that I think a lot of surfers look to as in regards to where links are.

i listened to all your comments.. and im glad coz im slowly getting familiar with freesites..

i changed the blue links but still w/ undrline.
i did less graphics
resized the pics to 600x800/800x600
less exclamation
and
a continous pics from gall 1 to gall 2..

It looks good - I find though that different size thumb images tend to take away from the ads and put too much eye focus on the content. You don't want to make the content the focus, you want the sales pitch to be the focus. it looks nice and all, but I am not sure it adds to the deal.
