Relative or absolute links

What is better for SEO, absolute or relative linking?

<a href="../main.html" or <a href="www.domain.com/dir/main.html"

Really? I haven't noticed much of a difference, personally.

I prefer absolute in case someone links to my IP address. I don't know how it gets out there, but it does. Absolute links insure the SE spiders and the surfers are on the right URL.
