I'm going. I sure hope this turns out better than Miami's show was.
At least this is just a one hour flight, I got a full fair ticket back so I can leave when I want and I'll have some friends there for CES. And hopefully, some of the great people I met this last week at webaccess west will be there too. I'm in on the 4th and out on the 8th. Harry |

I'll be there from the 3rd through the 9th, staying at the very overpriced Venetian.
I think there is a Homewood Suites just a few blocks away that starts at around $58 a night plus tax. A lot of the hotels are booked up, but there IS a Motel 6 in Las Vegas--complete with huge Neon sign!! |shocking| |

We WILL NOT be going.
This year we are boycotting the show because of the stupidity of the scheduling. Scheduling both adult shows for the same three days as the CES show in Vegas is quite probably the dumbest idea they have ever had. It was bad enough when they were staggered and overlapped by 1-2 days with themselves and CES, but this is STUPID. A more sensible solution would be to have the shows consecutively, and NOT Overlap with CES. Overlapping Jacks up room rates, traffic, and congestion. It also loads the show down with the "looky loos." If they want to entice the general public into the AVN show, they COULD have one day overlap (Or preferably an overlap day when the CES people are setting up, or at the end of their show.) But this stupid "jam it all together show" does not lend itself to being cost effective for my traveling dollar. So, result? SHOW BOYCOTT. |
