I've often thought that getting into a battle of wits with the Useless one would be both challenging and entertaining since the man always comes to the table loaded for bear.

To date, I have been able to avoid such a confrontation for a number of different reasons. The biggest, I would rather count him as a friend than a foe. The second...I try to keep The Walrus in check while posting...at least until I am more than just an honorary member of this community.

My feeling is that porn and mainstream do mix, but because of the way mainstream marketters look at porn, the only way to monetize the traffic is to either sell it porn or get it to click off to a secondary mainstream site where you can sell it mainstream stuff.

I feel no need to attempt to get the respect of those who are so disrespectful in the first place. I don't require anyone's respect for my own ego. All I ask in what I thought to be a friendly place was common courtesy rather than attacks. I don't see it as "losing" anything in this thread moreso than most of the posters showing their utter disrespect. I've seen you on other boards and you are more than welcome to contact me in the multiple instant messengers I use and I'll help you with whatever you can.

One thing I have "lost" is interest in helping people who obviously aren't open to new or old lurking posters' new ideas or the intelligent discussion of information in a forum designed for such purposes.

nothing is massive, secretive or patented nor is it one technique. I came here to try to help and share some knowledge and hopefully pick up something I may have not known or thought about, as well as being a part of the community.

As I explained on ICQ, when I'm attacked or disrespected I reply in kind. Granted I could have just called UW a "fucktard" and left it at that and handled things differently, but I didn't. mainstream sucks... but you can work the traffic to your advantage. Set up a couple of blogger accounts and make a few joke a day posts, funny pics and/or link to other sites that have kick ass content. Under your friends list, put your adult site (keep it tame for the moment) at the very top. trade with a few people here and there if you want. Toss in a dating proggy, if you want.

It won't get your goal of a sale per day, but it IS a step towards that goal.
