This is the message that comes up at the top of the aff page.
"In compliance with GDPR regulations, we will soon discontinue affiliate cookie tracking upon ad load, and to better align with such regulations we will instead measure upon ad engagement. Therefore the 'Unique Hits' column in your stats page will be 'Engaged Hits'." A bit concerned since new browser updates are not always happy with some of the heavy loads the browsers claim the ads are putting on the page so they just block it. Have you guys had luck with other programs? Are they all headed this way?

I just read the GDPR regulations again and a little confused by why the regulation would affect cookie tracking unless (insert any company) are tracking everywhere that ip/person visits online versus whether or not that ip/person comes back to that company.
I've seen the same message and not sure if this will be good or bad for myself. |
