I was just wondering why my sites do not get accepted at Smutgremlins
I used to recieve many "site accepted" emails, but now... The last site was accepted on September 29...

Hello, I just noticed I haven't recieved any approval emails from smutgremlins. I'm re-doing recip tables today, so if the reason for rejection is recips, please let me know so I can get on top of it. For the same reasons that Odysseus was declined and banned is why your sites are not being listed.

Let me know when your willing to read my rules and follow them, and use the right recips, then I can remove the ban on your domains from my list.

Then i submitted a new site 12/27/05 and i just received an acceptance email.

Your site scrolls at 800 wide on the index and you have 4 links outgoing

Thanks for the feedback MML,

I didn't notice the scroll size - it's caused by the recip table - all the recips have grown since last year... I'll rearrange the table to overcome it.

As far as links are concerned it was always 3x sponsor and 1x internal; 3 total links seems really tight, I'll have to see what i can do about it.

From SmutGremlins rules page:
"No more than 3 sponsor banners/links per page (this means ANY outgoing links, including links to your own sites/hubs)"

This is pretty standard at most link lists, an outgoing link is an outgoing link. Only exceptions are Exit and 2257 links as long as they don't have any sponsor ads on them.

There may be something else that the reviewer saw that was the reason for decline, but that's what I noticed right away.
