Well, it must have gotten really cold last night. I went out to start my truck and it wouldn't. So, I decide to start the car next to it to jump start it...nothing. So, I am now stuck here

Wow a guest room with its own private toilet!! you are UPtown..
 So glad i sold my stock in Home Depot last month.. well i actually retained a few shares just in case you want to add a 'shelter' for your 'Vette. 70 here today.. off to see the Off road Expo and see what grease monkeys do on the weekend in the sand dunes.  |

Did you design that guest room for male guests?
Put a TV on that other wall and they will never move out. I would have never thought to put a toilet in the guest room. Cleo, the Diva Designer -- homes designed for functionality. haha The house looks great! I am sure you are glad that project is almost done, but, the results really look worth the time and effort and pain you put into it.

Including the pizzaboard/mega-spank 2000, heheLeading edge of the storm is over my way now, although the weather folks say we'll get only 5 to 10" out of it (before lake effect kicks in obviously). At least with the cloud cover, the temp is raising a little bit..

The lovely white stuff started about 30 minutes ago here. It's coming down pretty good, but it isn't the monster flakes that pile up quickly. I could do better.

I looked out our window (well, actually I looked at the webcam)
no sign of snow here. Metar says: Currently 75F, Partly Cloudy, Wind from the West/Southwest @ 9 mph With technology, I don't even have to go outside to enjoy the weather. haha

Well, I can barely see the other side of the street at the moment. Pretty heavy and consistent at the moment. They upgraded our forecast from 5 to 10, to 8 to 13, lol. I think the last hour added 2..

We have gotten a lot of snow in the past for hours. After jump starting my truck for 2 hours, I finally got it running. But snow and 0 degrees is not a good mix for a windshield

I have my windows open too but it is a bit chilly.
I'm thinking of lighting some of those fake logs that crackle when they burn in my fireplace. It is so seldom that I can enjoy it without cranking the A/C way down. |

Well.. did 1 round of shovelling.. 2 foot drift on the leeward side of my car and the existing pile on the edge of my driveway. -10 or so wind chill, so the only exposed area was my eyes peeking above scarf and below hat..(now thats content!)
Figured I'd try to back my car up a bit so the wind might blow the big drift away for me, but the car only turned over super weak then pretty much died Car batteries freeze below around 8 degrees F, so maybe I'll remove it and bring it inside to warm it up. Then hook it up quick and turn it over. Might work. Might not. So anyway...damn
