The thing is that those of us around in 96 went through something real. Something that was passed by congress and something that would shut most of us down. The supreme court...the same guys there now, shot it down. Not once but twice. This was a real thing back then. We had a real fear of being out of business. We made it through unscathed. Since then, fear mongers have tried to sell us a bag of shit from zip code lists to having to pay for 2257 documents.

A week after this all broke I was reading the forums, getting all hyped up, and even considered leaving the biz. Then I stopped reading the forums...remembered that this is complete bullshit. So, I bought a server, bought a shitload of content, and fully plan to ride this out.

thanks so much for this thread. I have to say that a lot of these posts made me nervous. I'm glad you said what you did Jim. I know you and greenguy and Cleo have been at this a long time. So I trust what you all say. Bought me a bunch of content also ready to start making a bunch of free sites.

One question that I always think to my self is this: How the hell can the goverment even begin to watch us all? There are millons of us out there aren't there? Seems crazy to me, so I agree with Jim if they come to arrest me so be it what the hell would I be guilty of??
