Jeka, if you're asking what I think you are. Egypt posted what one of the mods felt was spam so they replaced it with the can.

Yeah, I saw it before it was spammed out. It was self promotion, not an answer to the question.

For my newest site, startup cost was pretty minimal. Most was paying the $750 VISA registration fee through ccBill. I have probably put a few hundred into it so far in scripts. I really only have to make a couple of sales to cover my entire years hosting. Needless to say I am making a profit and have paid off all my expenses.

The only thing that can't really be calculated is the number of hours every day I spend working on it. In that case, I have about 1 million dollars invested into the site, and I'll never see a profit!

I thought I'd add my two cents, since I think I'm coming from the different ballgame than most folk here. Not everyone who makes paysites makes them to directly compete with the biggest names, so when it comes to smaller sites, you may well have a smaller cost.

I'm currently working on my third niche paysite, and I plan to invest about $2000 in exclusive content in the coming month, and $300+ in following months to keep the site updated. I'm doing the other work myself (including being a little bit of content), so apart from possibly paying someone a couple hundred to do my videos, it's just blood (ha!), sweat, and tears.

Not everyone has to start the next Little Spril or MILF Hunter or something to pull a living from paysites.
