Linkster FD offers the ePass option. I've been using it for almost a year. No cheeky teller worries

I think my bank was just looking for a reason to get rid of me. They had great online banking when they were a tiny bank. They then merged and started using the other bank's online banking that sucked. It really was from more than 10 years ago. The balance was about a week behind. And, I complained about it constantly. Then, there was a day when I forgot my wallet when cashing a check. Obviously, everyone in the bank knew who I was and the Head Teller lied to me. I had watched her at least 15 times go into the vault when I cashed a check and when I told her that she denied having access to the vault. So I of course called her a lying bitch
And, since I really don't trust banks, I did take a lot of cash out and use my safe at home. I tried to never keep over a few Thousand in any of the accounts. They probably just used ePassporte as a stupid reason to get me to leave. I never gave them any way to make any money from my accounts. |

I'm in the process of changing banks as well. Citibank sold all their Buffalo & Rochester locations to a local bank called M & T. I guess the sale was announced back in April, but there was not a lot of coverage on it & I had no idea until I got something in the mail 2 weeks ago telling me that the new bank would soon have all my accounts
I'm only upset because I've had an account at Citibank since I was 20 (and I still have to talk to them about the CC's) But my step-daughter is an Asst. Manager at a different local bank & she's been bugging us to move our account there for the last few years, so I guess this will all work out |

My bank Lloyds know what I do, they had no problem at all (I told them when opening a business account - thought it better to be upfront and see what the response would be before I got too far down the line). As it turned out, Lloyds business accounts suck ass, majorly I closed that and now run my business out of my personal account, as there is no upside (and a few downsides unbelievably) to switching to their business account. |
