I'm completely dug out now. I also did the sidewalks of three of my neighbors and the driveway of one my less-than-favorite neighbors. I'm sure that big snow bank will keep them from using my sideyard as a widened version of their driveway. My new snowblower made me feel like a kid playing in the snow. Speaking of playing in the snow, that's what my kids are doing right now. TWO SNOW DAYS IN A ROW! Damn kids. There were a few more than a handful of school closings today.

Now that I'm done, I'm sitting here pantless with white socks, sipping my coffee.

It's windy out there, and we only got a few inches of snow. Hard to tell though since the wind is causing both drifting and bare patches.

I park underground, so my car will be warm, and no need to use the snowbrush that I broke at GG's place- they need to make a no-touch snowblower for cleaning off cars.

Well, I got a little out of control. I did put the piles in the road strategically but when I saw the old mans driveway, I just threw all the snow from that in his neighbors driveway with car still parked.

Looking at the driveway now, I can't see where the snow ends and where the car begins

Wow that is some snow. I like the snow we got here day before yesterday. Isn't Isn't this pretty I can look at the snow, but not deal with it.

Good luck with all the clearning your driveways, that looks like it is a real mess back there. I grew up in Michigan, and I remember those days.

Today we are having a contractor come over and price out putting a shade covering over our back patio. The back side of our house faces south, and the sun really blasts in the windows in the winter time. We are thinking of just putting up a frame, then stretching like 80% shade cloth over it, then redwood lattice underneath. Look pretty without all the work and expense of building a roof. Must hurry before it is so hot, we don't want to work out there.

There was a time that I truly enjoyed all four seasons, but now Winter makes me feel old. And if you suffer from an type of depression, cold, snowy winters have a special way of making it worse. This area is gorgeous Spring, Summer and Fall, but Winter sucks ass. Pretty from a distance, but that's the extent of it. No one should live north of Maryland.

Whoaaa. All that snow. I don't know the first thing about what's that like. That's just intense. Off to get my car lube/oiled up before I drive out to Phoenix this weekend. Then back to code some more and get a freesite off. Cheers everyone. Happy "it's on" Thursday.

Afternoon! My lazy ass didn't get up till 11am today

Those pics of the snow sure are pretty to look at but I don't miss it one bit.

RedCherry that was a pretty pic

When I got online I discovered I have the peanut butter they say could be tainted. This is crazy it seems its something all the time lately that is tainted. Maybe the old days are coming back where you ate what you grew in the yard

Time to work now....have a great day all!

Aaah, neighbor wars! The best one I can remember is when the guy across the back fence from me kicked my dog when I was a kid. Bad move, when I found out about it I took my Dad's 9 iron and practiced chip shots with dried up dog turds into his swimming pool
It was an above ground pool and I bet he's still wondering which one of his mutant kids crapped in it

Not a bad idea

Today's monoculture farming practices produce crops that are highly susceptable to disease. Instances of tainted food are only going to become more and more common.

Tell that to the snowbirds down here that stay, but with a minor change:

Gettin' old sucks

The day I turned 40, many moons ago I couldn't see my computer screen. Had to use a big magnifying glass to read e-mails. That's when I knew I was old. Have glasses now....
