Charlie, if I'm reading your method right, you are creating copies of your warning page so that in effect, Linklist A links to page A and gets traffic back only from that page. Linklist B links to page B and gets traffic back only from that page and so on. That would mean there's no interchanging of traffic.

LL's want you to have a minimum of other sites on your recip page because they want a pool of traffic created there, of which some surfers would get back to the LL (not the same ones it sent you). The way you do that, they lose on that traffic and your recip becomes as invaluable as a link from a page with only one recip.

Actually what I was doing was copying warning, main (middle, hallway, whatever) and the two galleries into seperate folders named according to freesite. Warning page A and B and C and so on are identical with indentical recips, so if the surfer gets to page A, he has all the recips on page b also which I believe does the same as if it were the same page, but maybe I'm wrong about this

Call me simple, but why not just put all of the recips on one page, one url, and check your stats to see who sends waht, then adjust accordingly.
Just seems like a lot of work to do it the way you are. And easier for LL's to know they're not losing out.

How do you know which url is getting what to your sponser if say 15 LL's are on the same page with the same url? I mean the page should be the same, just duped into different folders (actually I like to copy all four because most of your sponser hits are going to come off the hallway or one of the gallery pages). It's no problem with the big guys because you know to gang most of them together, but there's one or two that never accept you and then a few smaller guys who might derserve to be bumped up a notch cause they're sending you all these hits and you just found out about them.

Am I making any sense here?

In a way,
But I figure if the LL sent the surfer to my page then it becomes my job to send the surfer to the sponsor, so the only thing I keep track of for stats is how many hits each LL sends me. Micro analyzing which LL's hits are better than another's would completely drive me insane. I'm much happier trying to figure out what I can do to drive surfers to a join page, which is a difficult enough job for me.
I check my stats once a day, cash my checks once a week and I don't think I miss out on too many trends. Micro analysis would make my lazy ass even less productive than it already is

It's actually not that big of a deal. I don't fine tooth it or anything, just keep an eye on which things are doing better. mostly I did this with galleries originally because there are so many crap and fake tgp's out there I hate to match a fake one up against a legit one.

I just figured I'd do the same thing with LL's, although maybe most of these are probably legit anyway and I'm just wasting my time. Still I find some that block me or give me 404 pages after submission and etc., It really started more for the recips than me but than I noticed this added benefit.

Like I said I'm sort of new at the free site thing
