I think if worse came to worse and the Sponsor totally left the biz, etc..I think the only way to feesibly change things is to ask the LL owners to remove the links should they still be up and viewable. Much like many did with Teela's sites several weeks ago.

Maintained a spreadsheet since day one - wish I had done it in a database cuz it's getting a bit too large to be handy.
Only sponsor I've ever promoted is me so if I go belly-up, guess I'm really screwed. I did read somewhere that at least one LL uses a script like some of the TGP's to check for changes but I can't remember or find where that was. I have made changes to FS's when I had to - (like the ones I'm doing fixing that were submitted to "Richards Ream". Or one that the CSS was screwed up in IE. I've even added a few more recips to some of my early ones. |

I have kept a spreadsheet from day one and archive them when they get too long. I know all the links I have out there, what sponsor/site it is for and the date I submitted it.
I build, submit and forget. If I get declined because of easy to fix issues I make those changes. Otherwise, they just sit out there and the new sites get better with experience and practice. When you are submitting a site a day six days a week there is very little time to go back and fix old free sites anyways. |
