I'm 1 episode away from finishing The Keepers which is about the murder of a nun in Baltimore in 1969 that may have been due to her potentially exposing pedophile priests. It's a good doc, even if a lot of it makes me sick to my stomach.
1st I've heard of it. Looks odd..... |

I watched the new Explained episode on Political Correctness & I really think working in porn has ruined any chance of me ever being politically correct...not that I would be if this wasn't my job
Then I watched the 1st 3 episodes of The Innocents and WOW! This looks like it's going to be really good! |

Just started watching Paradise PD which is a new cartoon series that popped up last week. From the creators of Brickleberry
After watching the first episode I was not sure if it was worth watching but I soldiered on and it got a little better in the 2nd and the third had me laughing pretty good. That's as far as I've got so hopefully it continues on this pattern. |

I did finish Paradise PD and found it much funnier as it went on.
We then watched the netflix animated movie Next Gen and even thou it is a kid movie, you basically know the script, I found it entertaining because I enjoy these types of film. I binged on Cathedral by the Sea and found it different then what I was hoping for but still entertaining enough as I worked while watching it. Thou most probably would not like it. Then we watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy last night. 42 Not sure what to start next, Iron Fist or OITNB or ??? |

I've watched some older movies lately but I did start/finish OITNB which is still good and now 3 episodes in with Iron Fist.
After seeing Godless win a couple of Emmy's the other night I added that back into my queue. Some day in the near future, when my wife goes back to work, I'll spend a whole day to binge that one as I feel it is one of the best westerns in years. |

I finished Iron Fist yesterday and I still like though I did not care for certain parts of the ending but I'm willing to see what happens in season 3 before passing judgement
We watched Peter Rabbit last night and No my grandson wasn't here. Guess my wife and I were in childish moods because we both laughed many times during the movie. Yes, I'm a child |

I just finished Maniac and I don't know what to think. The trailers looked odd, but I saw it had Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, Sally Field, and Gabriel Byrne so I thought why not. It's good & interesting & confusing & weird & fucked up & stupid & funny & has A LOT of people that smoke A LOT. It's a quick 10 episodes (each 30-40 min) & a limited series, so no need to worry about if/when the next one will be. Emma Stone was great & while I like Jonah Hill (who lost a lot of weight), I didn't in this. I kinda recommended it, if only from a tech nerd POV (it's obviously set in the present or near future, but all the tech is from the 80's) and obviously for all the smoking 🚬

The Sinner is technically a USA Network series, but since it's on Netflix, it counts My chiro told me about it yesterday & WOW is it fucking GREAT! I watched 4 of the 8 episodes last night & I know I'm finishing it today. 1st episode is a little slow, so stick with it - trust me on this!

Hmm. Added Explained and Disenchantment to my list.
Whenever I get a chance I like watching foreign language tv shows to get a better feel for what sells in a particular country. Right now I'm watching Border Town. It's dark with a different murder mystery every 2 episodes. |

I binged the second season of Norsemen today. It's only 6 half hour episodes per season so easy to do while working. It's kinda stupid humor with Vikings.

I watched Doom (2006) just now. Since I am really into gaming I thought it would be fun to watch, had low expectations though.
Bad. but I got through it, so it wasn't *that* bad. Acting was horrible, so was the dialogue and almost *none* of the monsters from the computer-games where in it, that was the biggest disappointment. I'm trying to be better at relaxing, so I guess I'll start to check out some of what is mentioned in this thread. Hooked up to US-Netflix through VPN the other day, but the lines were to bad, movies couldn't be streamed. (Which is a bit odd, I've succesfully streamed TV from Australia. Probably a lot of traffic on server) A lot of your recommendations are probably available here too, anyway Jlly |

Like Jolly, a few weeks back I watched Doom and Get Smart for the hell of it.
Like he said about Doom, I watched because of playing the game and it was exactly what I figured it would be so I was working while watching it. As for Get Smart, it was funny in the way I knew it would be so it wasn't a waste of time. I finished Van Helsing a yesterday. This is a SYFY show and it was okay. I started it before my trip because I did not want to start something good I really wanted to binge on before going on my trip a couple weeks back. After being back I figured I finish it because it was easy to watch an episode with a food break and get right back to whatever else I needed without that feeling of "I need to watch another episode" |

I watched the movie Free State Of Jones which is a true story from the civil war I found quite entertaining and educational.
Finished Big Mouth last night and I find that animated show really funny because I'm a child Next is BoJack Horseman as there is a new season that my son reminded me of over the weekend. I also find this animated series quite funny as well! |

I started watching Dirty Money which is a docuseries about big corporations fucking over the general public. 1st one was on Volkswagen's "Clean Diesel" cars from a couple years back. There's 6 total & each is about an hour. Looks like the last one is on

I watched a few episodes of Life's to Short (2011-2013) about a "dwarf" actor playing himself.
He thinks he is a huge star since he was an ewok in Return of the Jedi and played Marvin in Hitchikers Guide, but he's pretty much an asshole and nothing else. (Checking him on IMDB, he DOES have a lot on the CV though ...). He's best friend is an accountant that have no clue about money and math whatsoever. Funniest episode so far is episode 2 where Liam Neeson have decided to be a stand up comedian, and his portrayal of himself as a 'very not funny guy' is mindblowingly brilliant. Johnny Depp hires the 'dwarf' to study for his next Tim Burton lead-character in Ep3, Depp does it brilliantly as well Jlly |
