First, Thank you Greenie and Karen. I love you both so much.
Next, even if I have to say so myself, I think the burial was beautiful. We skipped the funeral home bullshit of calling hours, funeral and some mass and went directly to the cemetary. I followed the hurse on Vickies pride and joy, her bike for it's last ride forever. It sat where the headstone will sit once I order one and some of the words spoken about her made me cry like a baby. Mostly the words I wrote and had my son in law read for me

After the burial, I rode her bike back home and with the help of 8 guys, we picked it up and put it in what will soon be the bar.

I then went to the get together aftr and only could drink 1/2 cup of champaine before I couldn't take the "I'm so sorrys from people I didn't know. I came home alone and when I saw her bike parked in the house I dropped to my knees and cryed like I can't ever remember doing before.

She was the ONE true love of my life and I will never have any kind of a relationship with a woman again. After time, a quick piece of ass but that's it. And right now, I can't even see that happening anytime soon.

Here was the quick words I wrote to have read today to know how I really felt about her.

My Beloved
This was difficult enough to write much less say it aloud. That’s why I have chosen son in law to speak these words and memories for me. I have made it as short as possible. And, please join us after this ceremony and get drunk with me. She would have wanted it that way. And, she didn’t want a party for her death. She wanted a party for her extraordinary life. She liked to tell her Doctor’s that she was a “Strong Black Woman.” And she can get through anything. And never during her battle with cancer did she ever show fear.

What can I say about Vickie that people that knew her don’t already know? She taught me to be the father I am to our children today. Before her, I saw my children rarely. After being with Vickie, I had no choice but to see my children as often as possible.

Vickie taught me more than any other single person about life and what was really important. She has made me the man I am today. She never treated our children as two of her children and two of mine. She treated our children as our children. And as an extended family, Vickie did a pretty damn good job.
Vickie has helped more people in her short life than I can count. If a friend or family member ever needed anything from her, she would never say no. Conversely, if you ever hurt any of her family, you had an enemy for life. I still tell the story of someone stealing a car battery of hers from a car that was basically junk. For the next 10 years, she flipped this poor guy off whenever she saw him and yelled out “thief”. At times Vickie was hard and she always spoke her mind. If she cared about you, you knew it. If she didn’t care for you, you knew that as well.

She loved all animals especially her 6 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds and her fish. Food was always left outside for any stray animals that were hungry. If she could take them all in, she would have.

The reason her bike is here is besides her family, there was nothing she loved more. This is her bikes last ride. It will be placed in our home and treated to last forever in the house. It will never be ridden again. As you can easily see, there is nothing else I could ever do with her “girl”.

As for me…I have truly had and lost the one love of my life and I feel both very sad and very fortunate. My heart has been broken into a million pieces. She will surely be missed.

I will always love her more than anything in this world.
Thank you listening
Mr Victoria Barnett
