They use a similar layout. Is this a problem?


I highly doubt a surfer looking at porn would care or even realize it.

I mean, how many ways can you switch friggen tables around - at the end of the day they all look like squares & rectangles to me

Since your link list is the only site that demands this it would be more productive for me just to stop submitting to link-o-rama or prehaps move it to a recip page that gets submitted less often. That way I can rotate the handful of templates I do use.

I stand in protest. Ok, I sit in protest. I too like to add the occasional sample movie, but prefer to build pic sites. I think you should add a third page to each category for "morphed" pic/movie sites.

Is it a search engine problem? Is it to make the reviewers job more interesting?

I mean if surfers cared so much about layouts wouldn't paysites have something instead of the exact same tables displaying their hundreds of galleries?

Everytime I build a promotional page and show it to surfer friends they focus on the content exclusively. They have never once commented on the design.

If I'm going to extend my work day an extra 2 hours designing fresh pages everyday I would just like to know why.

Does this effect me beyond being rejected from certain link lists?

If I comes across in a negative way then I apologize. That is not my intention.


I was just hoping to get some detailed feedback.

I understand that ultimately it's your site and you can do whatever you want with it. I also understand that you don't have to explain anything to me.

There's a lot of reasons people don't like template or "cookie cutter" sites. Personally, I think that having a larger variety of templates helps with sales, meaning that the surfer won't click the back button because the site looks familiar (as if they've already seen it)

Tommy suggested a long time ago that everyone make 30 different templates & use 1 each month & that's the philosophy that we've been preaching here for a very long time.

Isn't that a bit too much really? I mean, site has 20 movies, and average length of a movie is 13 secs (several have more), and only 1 movie has 9 secs (OK, I overlooked that, sorry). My question remains - don't you think this is just a bit too much?

hi, i did a new site with angelina jolie and have been rejected again with 1200 reason, but my pics all pass that rule, the smallest is 800*420. and 800+420=1220. what is wrong ?

You're asking if 120 seconds is too much when you admit that you have around 260 seconds?

My suggestion is to make the one movie 10 seconds, split them into 2 groups & build 2 sites.

I'd have rejected it for a couple other reasons - mainly "Site Structure Violation" because the purple font color on the purple background is really hard to read & everything on the index is left aligned except the enter/exit links, which are centered.

I corrected that. Font is now black on violet background and it is more readable. Everything is center aligned now.

Rules are rules. I don't let sites slide if they have one blind link. I don't list sites that have one image hotlinked.

12 10 sec movies would solve that

OR

Build one site for those link lists & build a different version for the sites that have a minimum seconds rules for movies.
