It's a cool and damp start of March 19, 2013
Another day has begun. Taxes to gather, porn promo to make, ridiculous requests from clients to deal with.
Going over to H&R Block tomorrow so I need to finish gathering all my tax stuff today. This will be the fist time I haven't used my very overpriced CPA that I used for many years. His bills for the past two years were insane considering how little I have him do. Back in the old days he did my payroll and other tax forms but now BofA does my payroll for free and the only other tax forms are the yearly sales tax which I do plus the quarterly Florida employment tax form which I also do. All that is left is my corporate and personally return so going to give H&R Block a try for that this year. Did this flyer yesterday and the client called first asking me if I could make the map clickable (it's a printed piece). Then wanted me to include around ten square miles in it. After I said it couldn't be made clickable and if I included ten square miles in it everything would be too small to see then he wanted me to hand draw a map of pretty much all of south Florida and use that in the space that the map now occupies. In the end I think it was decided to leave the map as is but all that could change today. I think I need to order more meds today |

Happy Titty Tuesday
Don't get me wrong, I love The Bitch & my Mom, but the best part of my day is the 30-60 minutes between The Bitch leaving for work & my Mom getting up. That small period of time is just bliss. Seeing as Yell & I are going up to Ottawa this weekend to visit Ramster, I have a shitload of work to do since I'll be basically offline Fri-Sun. So enough of this pleasant crap, I've got work to do! |

We just got a dump of snow last night. I hope it's the last for the year. Same old for me today other than a therapy session with my daughter (along with my wife). Those never go well. Have a great day! |

True but giving away eReaders instead of a piece of paper gets real expensive really fast.

Morning. I'm up early. Had a great weekend and then a really busy Monday. Have a client that is moving into a new office. I got to coordinate a ton of contractors coming into the building to work. Then I helped the wire guy ready 60 network jacks up to some patch panels. Then toned out everything to make sure things were all set. A lot of work but it was a nice change of pace. Really zero sitting in front of a computer.
Today it's back to hanging out in front of a computer and making lots of phone calls. Have a good one. |

Good afternoon.
Just got back from the demolition job. Now it's time to celebrate my son's 2nd Birthday. The Brazilian guy that's my only recurring member over at AWE is back, I thought he quit buying webcam credit but last night he spent over $270 again. C'mon boy, pay my vacation to France just like you did last year Other than that I've got nothing. Have a good day all! |

Good morning world
I'll pass along some advice just in case anyone doesn't already know this is a bad idea. Sunday I had the worst bout of constipation I've ever experienced. Actually haven't really had anything like that happen for many years, and not sure why it happened. But it was accompanied by growling bowels that were screaming their demand for an exit to be made available. So I tried a big dose of Milk of Magnesia (laxative). Then, since my guttural vocalizing while sitting without reward on the commode was becoming loud and no exit was forthcoming, I tried a second dose. Then later a third one. Finally some relief was attained and since I didn't want to go through that again I combined one more dose of laxative with snacking on a good amount of chocolate, a natural laxative, along with plenty of fiber. To make a long story shorter, this is now the third day when I don't dare stray far from my home and my bathroom. The constipation problem is long gone, having been replaced with it's polar opposite. My plans for today are subject to change, but when not using a tray table as a desk in the bathroom I hope to spend some time working at my real desk too. Wishing a better day than this to all.

Happy 2nd birthday to your son, Fonz.
Hope you feel better soon, Simon. Have you tried drinking Coke, that usually helps with me when I have diarrhea. Good morning (or early afternoon) to everyone. |

Seeing as I'm on pain meds, I know a lot about constipation. If you know you're going to be bound up, by far, the best med to take is Senokot - but it's fucking EXPENSIVE! So I looked at the ingredients & there's really only 2. Rite Aid sells a generic version of both:
Vegetable Laxative Col-Rite Stool Softener I take 3 of the laxative & 2 of the stool softener 3-4 times a day, depending on my pain med intake. And it works PERFECTLY! Also, just a couple of FYI's: 1 - Rite Aid does sell a Laxative & Stool Softener combo, but I did the math & it's actually cheaper for me to buy them individually based on my dosages. 2 - Rite Aid has "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" deals on all their generic meds every couple of months, so I stock up when I see them on sale, because the laxative costs $20 & the stool softener costs $10. So, based on this: I saved over $100 This concludes your "How To Avoid Constipation" lesson....there will NOT be a test |

Thanks for the detailed information on avoiding constipation. If I'd had any indication of what was coming I probably would have been okay. I haven't been constipated since June of 2009 when I had to take some pain meds due to an attack of kidney stones. So this was just out of the blue, and I erred on the too much side of self-medicating after it was too late.
I'll keep those suggestions in mind in case I have a scheduled constipation day in the future some time. Well, I mean I'll keep Greenie's suggestions. I think Meatpounder's posts are just him engaging in some wishful thinking regarding how he'd want the problem handled if it'd been him.

Personally I'd go for the garden hose up the butt trick.
