It's looking to be a wet one here. Guess it is a good thing that my only plans for today is to park my ass in front of the computer.

Saw Star Trek at IMAX yesterday. It was ok but I don't get all the hype over it. It's non stop action without a whole lot of story but the writers have rewritten the Star Trek universe using time travel so I guess we can look forward a whole new series of Star Trek movies. Leonard Nimoy plays a very old version of Spock.

raining here for the second day but not stormy so it will help the garden a lot.
I just updated my intel mac mn to 10.5.7 es now it doesn't want to build the lan with the 4 yr old ppc mini.. I will have to play with the network settings a lot I m afraid.

Good morning. Got a bunch of stuff setup for getting back to things properly. A lot of things I've been leaving on the table is about to be picked up. One big project is still in a holding pattern due to trying to reach an agreement. Ugh. Some progress has been made, but it sure isn't as fast as I'd like it to be going.

Watched lakers win last night which was nice while listening to the radio feed of the angels baseball. After that I caught up a little more on Fringe.

Time to get my hump in this day going.

busy like hell and in my worried mode, still nice weather here!
Yesterday morning i got a phonecall that my son passed out (do you say it that way, when a person just fainted?) while he had lunchbreak at school in the morning and was outside the school...so like the mom and person i am , i freaked out, and drove with a 150 kilometers per hour to school

, the reason he passed out was according to him, he smelled a very strange odeur also some other kids did, then all went black for him, he got some blue spots on his arm and left side of his body because he passed out, now we found out quickly the why, next to his school there is an other school and they where working on the roof with stuff which arent allowed to use here, so that made him passed out, i am glad that was the thing and that it was not a illness thing of his own!
Also today that damn green male bird of my son bit me again in the cheek and very hard....

he did that because the yellow female bird of my daughter was hiding in my hair, the green one wont allow that, so the damn fucker bit me again ( he did already 3 times before) only now i gave him the finger...i slapped with my finger on his beak (do you say beak?, well that thing he use to eat with) he was so surprised of that, that he right away gave me some kisses and putted his head in my neck like a hug

...sweet bird but in the meantime i have a hurted cheek... and forreal, instead the beak slapping, i wanted to grab that little fucker by his tail and slap it from the left to the right on the table and over and over again......

Nothing more to say just busy with coding and my moron fam time, i wish you all great day and eve!

Had to get up at 4:50 this morning do go do a plumbing job that had to be done before 9AM. I was home at 8:30 AM. Spent most of the day babysitting my 1 year old nephew and after that I headed over to the girlfriend to make us dinner. I feel like one of those "new men". Arghhh!

Anyways, back to looking at naked chicks with dicks now

I've put together another blog video with VDub with some nice sponsor fades and will finish it down to H264 with a lower rate in Super once super finishes compressing my beautiful copy of Rose Red.

<rant>
I ripped this copy of Rose Red like I do all my videos so I can watch them when I work without digging through DVDs. When I ripped it I went for quality and the video ended up at 4+ gigs (its a long movie). Well, yesterday I bought a nice fat 1000 gig external HD for backups and in the interest of using it with my win2k box, my wifes soon to be XP laptop and my linux server I left it formatted as fat32. I knew, but paid no mind to the fact that the filesize limit of fat32 is 4gig minus one byte. So every time I tried to move it from my linux ext3 to the new external HD, I got an error "out of space". Meanwhile I'm looking at 900 Gig of free space and saying "WTF?". Finally I remembered why fat32 sucks, so now I'm stuck compressing a 4 hour movie into H264.. Did I mention I've had it up to here with Microsoft?
