Slow DNS...Anyone else?
I hope this is the correct area to ask this.
I changed the DNS on one of my feeder domains 8 weeks ago and it took 3 weeks for it to take effect. Now I changed a clients DNS Monday Sept 19th at 10AM and it said 24-48 hours to change. That should have taken effect no later than 23rd. at 11AM Has anyone else seen slow DNS lately, and why does it take so long now. I called my clients register and they said it would be changed within 12-24 hours. that was over 48 hours ago. I know in the past that its changed in under 60 minutes. Just dont understand why the snails pace now.

I dont have a snappy come back for this. Ive seen my stuff change in 60 minutes in the past. But with the one name I changed 8 weeks ago it took 3 weeks. And this new client it will be 7 days tomorrow. (At the present time my clients DNS still hasn't changed.) They are with justhost as their register. were moving host. and when the name is up for renew we will move it away from justhost. Its just ridiculous that it has taken this long and still hasnt taken effect.
