yeah that is such a strange experience, isn't it.
The power supply on my main work machine died a sparking death the week after thanksgiving - so odd to be without a good computer, even if only for a short while. I have made a point to put some critical stuff on a flash drive so i can handle an incident like that better. And a 3 tb wireless backup system is on my solstice gift list lol. |

Backups really help as Bill pointed out. Have all purchased content in two places and main system backed up in another.
When my current laptop started to act up a little I purchased another. From here on out I will always have at least two machines with one sitting on my desk and the other in the living room. Thinking about buying one of those little chrome netbooks for traveling since I am one those that does not think highly of the ipad. |

I picked up a Samsung Tab2 with 10.1 screen running Android, wifi only for $300.00 and use my iPhone as a hotspot so I've got mobile broadband access anywhere I go. Very happy with it. There's even a Roboform app.
