Anyone else promote Iwantu.com?
First off, they're sending out emails to people who have signed up for free profiles with affiliate links to other sponsors.
Webmasters don't get paid on these obviously. They've also disabled their webmaster forum as i think to hide any complaints from affiliates. Am i over reacting or does this sound dodgy to anyone else? Last edited by Bobc01; 2007-06-28 at 11:28 AM.. |

Operator! Give me the number for 911!

If this is the case I think one of the concerns with that is that its not really encouraging a potential member to signup to their site. If I were receiving mails before I signed up I would be wary.

There is a pay per view type option with them where members can buy tokens instead of full membership, affiliates don't get paid for that either.
To me they are underhand by selling out affiliates behind their backs by use of ad's in dating member emails and alternative payment options with the tokens. In a way alot of sponsors try cheating their affiliates by putting domain names on banners but this kind of thing is just plain dirty. |
