I'm back to work - now I can finally relax...
|clown| A bit of a contradiction, but really: the last 10 weeks I've been working my butt off - literally: I suddenly need a belt to keep my pants up...
I have been busy renovating our house - since last Saturday it's finally listed for sale, and I have only a few minor things left which need fixing. And I just made it on time for the "end of the summer slow-down" - phhh |clown| So now it's back to work: sitting for hours in front of the computer, building more galleries, finally changing some ads around (looong overdue), and may-be (just may-be) give some of my sites a cosmetic refresh (some are looking as tired as I feel).

I will -hopefully- be doing the very same thing. We're going to make a push to finish this old house to sell it. The difference is, if I take that much time off, I may not come back. Not sure that that would be such a bad thing right about now. A steady income is sounding pretty good right about now.
Want fries with that?

I still haven't recovered from last year's house remodeling. Doesn't help that we keep on getting storms doing new damage.

I've been getting work done on my place too this summer - both dealing with contractors and doing some of my own work.
It has totally fucked up my ordinary working schedule, since the spring I've been short about three of my best working hours daily. I still have a tree guy and a crew to improve my driveway coming in the next month. And a bunch of stuff I want do myself, some window and roof repairs and maybe replacing a door. Beat up old houses need a lot of attention. You too can make big money in the contracting industry, UW. ;-} But it would be a loss to have you go. |

I did almost all work myself, so I'm really exhausted...
But it seems like it was worth it - even the real estate agent was impressed. I know her for a long time, and she knows the place from when we moved in, so she's not bullshitting just to get a listing... But still - I'm trying to sell privately, too (I have what's called a 'Sole Agency agreement' - which permits this) - so I put up some photos
