I wonder if they plan on setting up their own country outside of anybodies jurisdiction.

If it is porn you want, then make it ten miles. More than ten miles is "International Waters". If you register your ship with a friendly county (friendly=tin pot little country with bribeable ministers, or better still a bribable dictator) you can pretty much do what you like. Although I agree that the Government (both yours and mine) does poke it's nose in too much, I fail to see what this particular case has to do with that. Did Google take over Congress while I was not looking or something?

That's not the point I was making, or responding to. But now that you mention it we come back to their weird 7 mile idea. Because at 7 miles out they still have to pay federal and state taxes (to the nearest state). If they go three miles and an inch further out (so that they are more than ten miles from the low tide line), then they are in international waters and don't have to pay a cent to anyone!
