I think video marketing is a must for promotion of adult websites in search engines.

Thousand of people visit you tube to watch adult videos.

I think it is the most ultimate strategy of ranking well in search engine.

Video trailers on tours have been a must for some time. Though if the site is niche it is not really needed. Then there's the fine line of showing trailers and showing too much content.

Considering that most of the SE results I see when searching on popular keyword terms are for torrent sites and pirate tube sites I'd have to agree.

Edit: I'm not talking from an affiliate's point of view. I see no reason to run a tube unless you can strike the right balance between content that will bring in repeat traffic with sites that don't give too much away (like Ramster said). The pirate tube sites can always rely on shady dating sites, grow your prick larger pills, and other kinds of wonderful scams to bring in enough ad revenue to make running a pirate tube worth it. People love tubes, especially ones with full scenes. That's why they float to the top in Google.

Video marketing is very important and nowadays big sites have several intros because they are launched and if you look at the video title you will find out that the titles are keyword oriented (meaning that the main propose of the video is not to keep users updated with the development of the site, but to make the video rank good in search engines because this will bring them fresh traffic), so I agree with the user below that submitting intro is a must if you want to give your website a traffic boost before you launch it.

If you search for popular keywords you will find youTube results too and if your video is one of the two videos you will observe that it will give you a good traffic boost. That's why is good to bring as many visitors to your YT video as you can because popular videos rank high.
